Requirements
Skills:
Has led projects and teams before.
Great programmer, language less important.
Experience with translating business requirements into models.
Experience with designing and implementing algorithms.
Familiarity with AWS, scalable systems, and cloud-based architectures.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
English and Japanese (Business level)
Character:
Engineer biased towards business, understands domain complexity and loves simplifying it into solutions.
Questions business requirements if they have a disproportionate impact on the solution.
Mathematically inclined.
Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure the development aligns with business goals.
Work on complex algorithmic challenges or scientific problems, if relevant to the business domain.
Oversee system architecture, ensuring that scalability, efficiency, and maintainability are at the forefront.
Mentor junior and generalist team members, providing technical and business insights.
