Requirements

Skills:

• Proficiency in Python with experience building backend services.

• Bonus: Experience with FastAPI for building APIs.

• Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.

• Experience with API design (RESTful) and familiarity with OpenAPI (bonus).

• Solid understanding of end-to-end testing frameworks and practices.

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and deploying containerized applications.

• English (Proficiency level) , Japanese (conversational level, business-level proficiency is preferred.)

Character:

• Strong bias towards backend development but empathetic to frontend requirements, ensuring smooth collaboration between frontend and backend teams.

• A detail-oriented approach to API design and testing, with a passion for creating clean and scalable code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services and APIs, focusing on performance and scalability.

• Work on frontend tasks when necessary, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable architecture.

• Participate in the development of end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability and robustness.

• Collaborate with the cloud specialist and backend team to ensure smooth deployment, containerization (Docker), and maintainability of services.
